Tears are falling all over the land
Devastation around every corner
Men are afraid to stand

People are loosing jobs, families and homes
They feel as though they are here all alone
And that they have to handle
All of this, everything on their own

Tears are falling all over the land
Devastation around every corner
Men are afraid to stand

You must always remember the pain of the past
And how the time of devastation didn’t forever last
When you took the pain, hurt and fright
All to Jesus and left them there
You no longer needed tears to make it through the night

Tears seldom come but they can’t hang around
Just remember the eternal light
At the end of this passage, you’ve already found

The Lord is not lost he’s still here and there
Always looking our for your welfare
Continue to take him your pain, hurt and fright
And you will always be able to make it through the night
