I Found Me in You

Life has been so lonely.
The road has been so dark.
Keep searching for my purpose here,
but I don't know where to start.
I bought a fancy house,
and a nice flashy car.
Got lots of jewelry and fancy clothes,
but I keep wishing on that star.
I keep running in circles,
I always feel so lost.
I was looking for a change,
no matter what the cost.
That Bible on the dresser
seemed to catch my
this time I picked it up,
instead of walking by.
I felt peace come over me,
the more and more I read.
My purpose here on earth
was shown to me in red.
I asked for forgiveness
for all that I had done,
I got on my knees
and thanked my father's son.
Now I am living life the way
he wants me to.....
Thank you so much Jesus,
I found me in you.
I want to spread the word,
help others find their way.
When no one else is by your side,
Jesus is here to stay.
I am no longer lost,
the light of the Lord shines through.
Thank you so much Jesus,
I found me in you.
