A Lost Son

Yet a long way off, filled with compassion
He ran, embraced, kissed, his son who was lost is found

Come bring the best robe, shoes for his bare feet
Kill the fatted calf, he who was lost, is found

Praise (come) to the Father, praise (come) to the Son
Praise (come) to the Spirit, praise God, mercy free, I’m (you’re a) the prodigal son

If you’re a long way off from the Father
Squandered his riches and living among the swine, then come

YourHymn.com is the place on the internet to submit your original Christian worship songs. We accept hymns, praise choruses, contemporary songs, and even poems. We also want to hear your songs, so please send us the mp3 or WMA files so we can share them with our visitors. Also, every month we have a contest for our song-writers, complete with prizes. Our goal on this site is to glorify God by these songs of worship, and to be a blessing to all our visitors who stumble upon these works.
