No Greater Love

No greater love has one shown
Than this to lay His life down
In the place of a sinner who’s thrown
Being fit to be stoned

God sent for you His own son
Who died with all your sins borne
That you’d be fully disowned
By the hands of demon

O sinner won’t you now turn
To this God who’s compared to none
He is waiting for you to come
To make you fully outshone

He cares for you as His own
Though you’ve not become His own
He still loves you as His own
As a child came out of His own

If only you’ll cling to Him
He is ready to change you like Him
And transform you with His life
To give eternal life

To sins though you might be prone
His Spirit comes to make you grown
And will help you to overcome
All the sins you’ve known

If only to Him you’ll cling
He is faithful to lead you in
One fine day He’ll take you home
That’s built near His throne

In the kingdom where He’s enthroned
To have rule and to govern
You’ll have no cause to frown or mourn
‘Coz nothing will go wrong
