Lord I Pray

Treat me like a child, O Lord
when I err, scold me and put me aright
When from the path you set for me I deviate
cause me to stumble that I might seek the right
Let me run to you like a child when in trouble
Make me cry in pain, when my mistakes I realise
that you may pamper and put me aright, O Lord
cause my heart to cheer, when I am down and lonely
let me play at your feet, when no friend I have.
Send me Lord, that I may have joy and good health.
Be to me a friend O Lord
like a companion, keep me company.
Be the one I should talk to
when I need council, teach me to be patient
be the friend that keeps me warm at night.
Help me lord to love those who my path crosses
that I might fulfill your command
"Love ye one another, as I loved you"
Be a light unto my path, O Lord, be my strenght
that I may work in uprightness and truth.
Teach me Lord, like the servant of yours that I am
that I might teach others
what I learn at your Holy feet.
Feed me, O Lord, from your most wonderful store
your bleesings Lord I creave.
Your angels,I pray you give charge over me
and your wisdom, Lord, to be a son of great virtue.
