Just a few,
receive salvation first,
like it says in scripture
first for the Jew,
Just a few,
friends is all we need when we are troubled,
within to find comfort in,
just a few,
only trusted,
just a few only believe in his riches and mercy,
Just a few smell the roses in bloom,
what a perfume,
just for a few waiting virgins.
Just a few, took gold to the saviors cradle,
just a few shepherds brought hay,
where the baby boy was laid.
Just a few, wise men, took their time, searching for him.
Just a few, fishermen followed him into heaven.
Just a few, rescued by his blood,
just a few lack nothing of.
Just a few, feed the 5,000
just a few, made the flight from Egypt,
just a few visited the garden tomb.
Just a simple few, in God’s handful to view,
you and me two by two,
as the animals went to the ark away from flood.
