I am so happy that Jesus spoke to me
He said if I believed on Him His blood would cover me
No more heavy laden I can be at rest
Now every day is easier and now I sure am blessed

Now my load’s lighter since I believed on Him
His blood now covers me my pathway’s no more dim
Every day is brighter He’s leading in the fight
Now I will cling to Him He will be my light

As I go onward in service for my King
Just to know he’s always there makes me want to sing
Yes He walks with me firmly now I stand
Covered by His blood walking hand in hand
