I remember when I was young you were always there
I remember you were strong even when I was scared

God has blessed me with a Father like you
I hope I can be half the man of you

Your my hero in every way
The way you've walked
You've walked every day
To be like you God I pray
Lord I thank You for the Father You've given me

Verse 2:
It didn't matter where we were your love was always there
With five children and a wife at home
We knew you would always be there

A man of God is what I want to be
