Jesus has been a friend to me indeed
He supplies all my needs in the night
when I would cry he comforted me
and wiped the tears from my eyes
for no where I should be that he will abandon me
for I am his sheep he watches over me
and never sleeps though hard times may come my way
all I have to do is pray
has my all my everything
Jesus is all I need
yet my enemies may come with arms
they cannot touch what god holds in his arms
for he holds me close to his bosom
my protector my savior
for I shall always give him praise only
and always
yes Jesus has been a friend to me indeed
he has provided all my needs.
