I exalt thee O LORD for getting me through
The times I felt lonely which made me feel blue
You directed my steps to people who cared
Who taught me of you by successes they shared

I exalt thee O LORD for letting me see
How life can be happier, joyful and free
When I was in sorrow, misery and fear
You lifted my soul and you always stayed near

I exalt thee O LORD for showing the way
How problems get solved when I kneel down and pray
When I was addicted to doing man wrong
You wrestled mine heart and I quit before long

I exalt thee O LORD for lending a hand
For making me strong and for taking a stand
Today I am cleansed and my worries are few
I now can declare of my new life in YOU!
