Christ came from Glory to rescue me from sin;
He lifted all my burdens, made me pure within.
I love to tell how He lifted me and what He’ll do for you;
There’s no other Friend like the Savior, whose love is ever true.

Trusting His promises, I am graciously blessed;
Since I lean upon Him, He gives me that sweet rest.
When low in my Spirit, I can go to Him in prayer;
He wipes away my tears and soothes my every care.

For sure, I know my sins are washed all away.
You, too, can be made whole, so why delay?
His grace is greater than all your sin;
He opens the door for you to come in.

Nothing but His blood can wash away your sin;
That’s the only way you can be pure within.
So, walk in the Light, let Him be your Guide.
No more in darkness will you ever abide.
