How long will they keep mocking
how long will they continue disbelieving
when will the church awaken from its sleeping
there's ground to be taken
in the name of the Lord

How long shall sin have dominion
how long shall man exalt his own opinion
young and old lost by the millions
so let your light shine
in the name of the Lord

(ch) When HE comes will we be ready
will our lamps be burning steady
or will we all be caught by surprise
cause we've taken our eyes off the prize

How long shall they keep fleeing
from the truth from which they are seeking
they can't hear if the saints aren't speaking
shout HIS praises for the world to hear
