Before the dawn of human time
Before he stars could ever shine
God made a way that human kind
Could be redeemed through His redeeming love

For fallen man could not repair
The broken vows that he had made
For God alone could make a way
Our debt of sin could finally be paid

And so He gave His only Son
That whosoever would believe
Could have His everlasting life
And live with God for all eternity
