On this happy time of year, we sing the joys of 'Merry
Christmas'. People rushing buying gifts, checking that no one is forgotten. But
there is someone we forget, whose stocking is always hanging empty - it belongs
to the child born in the manger. So let's not forget - that Jesus is the reason
for the season. For He is why we celebrate this happy time of year. For Jesus is
the reason for the season. Because of Him we celebrate and we can say "have a
Merry Christmas".
If we were to ask ourselves what are the things that He would wish for. We would
all put in our share - each with a special gift for Jesus. For we'd put loving
kindness in and also a stretched out hand of goodwill. For these are just a few
things that He'd ask for - Gifts of lasting love. that Jesus is the reason for
the season. For He is why we celebrate this happy time of year. For Jesus is the
reason for the season. Because of Him we celebrate and we can say "have a Merry
Christmas".
Of all of the gifts that we could give Him, the best one would be one that makes
peace on the earth. that Jesus is the reason for the season. For He is why we
