His Grace Is Enough For Me
Welcome to another song-writing contest at
YourHymn.com. This is our July 2009 contest, and we are excited about
the theme for this one. Our theme for this month is "His Grace Is
Enough For Me". God has likely blessed you with many things in your
life, such as family and health and even financial blessings. But even
when we take away those blessings, we are still left with God's
incredible grace. While we are not deserving, God's grace allows us to
have forgiveness of sins, a relationship with our Creator, and the hope
of spending eternity with Christ in heaven. These things should alone be
our motivation to walk with Jesus and be obedient to His will. We look
forward to hearing from your songs, because we know that many of you
have been resolved to say that God's grace is sufficient. Be creative in
your writing, and as always, let your words give glory to our God of
hope. Please have your entries in to us by July 31st.

Requirements
- Must be a traditional hymn, contemporary
song, or poem.
- Must be about this months topic - His Grace
Is Enough For Me
- Must be Christian in nature and not
contradictory with the Bible
- Minimum 16 lines of verse
- One entry per person
- All entries must be received by July 31st
at 11:59pm
- There must be at least 50 entries for prizes
to be awarded.
Optional
- MP3, MIDI, or WMA music files may be
submitted as well. We will contact you after we receive your lyrics
for instructions about submitting your audio files.
- Stories or background information are
welcome (please put this information in the comments section)
- Pictures are welcome, but please only
pictures of the author. Please note that you have a picture and we
will give you later instructions on how to submit it.
Prizes
As long as there are 50 entries into this
contest, there will be prizes available. Prizes will be awarded to the top three songs
submitted to the contest. The method of determining the winners will
consist of both staff recommendations and a poll of our visitors.
- 1st Place - $100.00
- 2nd Place - $50.00
- 3rd Place - $25.00
NOTE: If there are less than 50 entries for the
contest, we will still have a reduced-prize for 1st Place. The prize
will be dependant upon the number of entries we receive. There will be
$1.00 of prize money for each entry we receive. For example, if we
receive 30 entries in the contest, the 1st Place prize will be $30.00.
There would be no other prizes awarded.
